INTRODUCTION
The abstract submission guidelines intend to provide clear instructions for the abstract submission. Prospective authors are encouraged to read the guidelines below carefully. The Scientific Committee and Advisory Board reserve the right to reject any abstract that does not meet the requirements or is in violation of them.
 
Submission of clinical research/ reviews abstract

1. Poster presentation should be in A0 size in portrait format

2. The abstract must be written in English and not more than 300 words.

3. The abstract must be in a structured format (Introduction, Methods, Results, Conclusion).

4. All abstracts must be submitted online via the Abstract Submission Form link by 1st March 2025

5. The submitted abstract must be ORIGINAL and has not been published elsewhere. However, abstracts that have been presented in other conferences can be considered.

6. Please supply personal details. Full name of all other authors must be in upper and lower case. 

7. A panel of reviewers will assess all abstracts independently.

8. The scientific committee reserves the right to make the final decision about the acceptance of the abstract.

9. Once the abstract has been accepted, the presenting author must pay the registration fee by 1st April 2025 and attend the conference.

10. Failure to register and pay for the conference after the deadline will disqualify the accepted abstracts from the competition as well as publication in the journal.   

11. The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors approve the content of the abstract before submission. 

12. There can be no change to the content once the abstract has been accepted.

13. All accepted abstracts will be published in the Malaysian Family Physician journal, a peer-reviewed journal that is indexed by PubMed Central, Proquest, Scopus, DOAJ, EMCare, Open J-Gate, MyAIS, WPRIM, Google Scholar.

Submission of case report abstracts

4. All abstracts must be submitted online via the Abstract Submission Form link by 1st March 2025.

5. The submitted abstract must be ORIGINAL and has not been published elsewhere. However, abstracts that have been presented in other conferences can be considered.

6. Written consent must be obtained from the patient.

7. Please supply personal details. Full name of all other authors must be in upper and lower case. 

8. Not more than 10 case reports will be selected for the poster presentation. 

9. A panel of reviewers will assess all abstracts independently.
